Dr. Lorelei Johnson was born in New Zealand, then moved to Canada and grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Immunology at the University of Alberta, and worked for several years in cancer research. Eventually growing tired of prairie winters, she decided to get back to the books and moved to Victoria with her husband to complete her medical training. They’ve now settled in Victoria and haven’t looked back!

 

While enjoying all areas of family practice, maternity and newborn care have always been a passion. She also has special interests in mental health and student mentorship. She feels privileged to be part of the dynamic team at Full Circle Family Practice where she can engage in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative and patient-focused care.

 

Outside of work, you’ll find her curling, cycling, hiking, practicing yoga, enjoying movies, at the beach, or chasing her two young children around. Dr. Johnson and her family also love travelling as much as possible during her time off.  She's looking forward to exploring more of Vancouver Island and all it has to offer.
