Get to know your Physician

Dr. Caitlin Harmon grew up on B.C.’s Sunshine Coast, spending her summers sailing with her family in the beautiful Gulf Islands.  She remains an outdoor enthusiast and some of her best days involve her stand-up paddle board, family, and neighbourhood beach. Rain or shine, she rides her bike to work and she loves to get her sweat on at kickboxing at her local gym. Her favourite times outside of work are spent with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors while sailing, hiking, skiing, and travelling. 

She earned her Bachelor of Science at UVic and fell in love with Victoria. She went on to earn her Medical Degree with the UBC Island Medical Program, graduating top of her class.  During her Family Practice Residency, Caitlin and her husband lived and travelled all over rural B.C. and the Gulf Islands, but beautiful Victoria was where they wanted to live and raise their three young children. 

Caitlin enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, as well as teaching as a Clinical Associate Professor in the UBC Faculty of Medicine.  She specializes in Maternity and Infant Care and is passionate about Labour and Delivery.  She adores her role as mother to her three children and feels privileged to help her patients on their journey throughout motherhood.
