Dr. Alexis Nadeau grew up in the Snowbelt region in Ontario. She moved to Montreal to complete her Bachelor of Science at McGill University, and then worked as an early childhood educator and neuroscience researcher. Through this work she found her path to medicine and completed her Medical Degree among the beautiful Green Mountains in Vermont, where she fell in love with backcountry skiing and mountain biking. The beautiful West Coast of British Columbia was calling her, and she completed her Family Medicine Residency in Victoria on the traditional and unceded territories of the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations. She is happy to now call Victoria home, where her partner are setting down roots.

Dr. Nadeau values that Family Medicine gives her the privilege of walking alongside people of all ages, identities, and experiences. She enjoys full spectrum Family Medicine, with special interests in maternity care, pediatric and adolescent health, and gender-affirming care. Catching babies and supporting families as they grow has been one of the many highlights of her work. She feels privileged to be joining the Full Circle team as a Locum Doctor sharing practice with Dr. Harmon and Dr. Taylor.

Outside of work, Dr. Nadeau can be found hiking and camping with her partner, playing guitar, biking to beaches, tending to her unreasonably large plant collection, and finding fresh powder in the mountains. She is excited to continue exploring this beautiful island and all it has to offer.
